Beta blockers
Kerlone (Betaxolol) cardioselective t ½ =18 hepatic & renal
Toprol XL (metoprolol) cardioselective t ½ = 3-4 hrs hepatic
Nadolol not selective t ½ =14-24 hrs renal
Levatol (pembutolol) not selective, mild partial agonist activity t ½ =26 hepatic
Propranolol not selective t ½ =3-6 hrs

Calcium channel antagonists
Norvasc (amlodipine) t ½ = 34 hrs
Lacidipine t ½ = 18.7 hrs
Nifedipine 3.4 hrs
Felodipine 11.4 hrs
Isradipine 8.4 hrs
Verapamil CR 5.7 hrs (SR no good per Kaplan)
Diltiazem CR 5.7 hrs

Ace inhibitors
Enalapril t ½ = 11 hrs (no good per Kaplan) renal
Lisinopril t ½ = 13 hrs renal
Mavik (trandolapril) t ½ = 16-24 hrs

Central acting agents
Clonidine t ½ = 6-13 hrs

Vasodilators
ARBS
Micardis (telmisartan) t ½ = 24 hrs may increase Dig levels-no adj in HD
Candesartan t ½ = 9 hrs
Avapro (irbesartan) t ½ = 11-15 hrs-no adj in HD
Losartan t ½ = 2 hrs (6-9 hrs) -no adj in HD
Valsartan t ½ = 6 hrs-no adj in HD
